Cold Email Templates v2.0: Spintax & AI Variables

Stop sending "I hope this finds you well." Start sending "I saw you just raised Series B." Here is the exact template that got us a meeting with YC founders.

If your emails look like templates, they get deleted. If they look like you spent 20 minutes researching, they get replied to. AI allows you to fake the research at scale using Spintax and Liquid Syntax.

The goal is "Plausible Deniability." The prospect must believe that a human wrote this specifically for them.

The "Reason-Based" Framework

Subject: Question about {{company_name}}'s hiring

Hey {{first_name}},

Saw you are hiring for a {{role_name}}. Usually, that means you are struggling with {{pain_point_1}} or {{pain_point_2}}.

We built a script that fixes {{pain_point_1}} in 4 minutes. It’s used by companies like {{competitor_name}}.

Worth a send?

- [Your Name]

Why it works: It's relevant. It shows you know their hiring status (scraped from LinkedIn) and their implied pain point. See our Growth Hacking guide for how to scrape this data.

Using Spintax for Deliverability

Email providers (Gmail/Outlook) hash your email body. If you send the exact same hash 1,000 times, you go to spam. You must vary the syntax.

{Hi|Hey|Hello} {{first_name}}, just {wanted to|thought I would} {reach out|check in} because I saw your {post|update} about...

This generates 3x2x2x2 = 24 unique variations of just the opening line. This keeps your sender reputation high.
