Generating Viral TikTok Ad Creative with Midjourney v7

You need 30 creatives a day to beat the algorithm. Here is the workflow to generate high-performing hooks using AI video generators.

The "Ugly" Aesthetic

Polished ads fail on TikTok. "Ugly", authentic, user-generated content (UGC) wins. We use Midjourney to generate "fake UGC" static images that look like iPhone photos, then animate them with Runway Gen-4.

The Golden Hook Framework

  1. 0-2s: Visual Disruption: A weird image, a glitch, or a "Stop" sign. Something that breaks the scroll pattern.
  2. 2-5s: The Problem Statement: "My skin was awful until..." (Relatable pain).
  3. 5-10s: The Mechanism: "This serum uses snail mucin..." (Unique mechanism).
  4. 10-15s: The CTA: "Link in bio to save 50%." (Urgency).

Prompt Engineering for UGC

To get that "iPhone look" in Midjourney, use these parameters:

/imagine prompt: selfie shot of a happy girl holding a green bottle, bathroom mirror reflection, bad lighting, flash on, shot on iPhone 15, blurry background --ar 9:16 --style raw --v 7

The key keywords are "bad lighting" and "flash on." This removes the "AI sheen" that makes people scroll past.
